Mini-Adventures?

Postby Jeric Hikari » Tue Apr 15, 2008 7:07 pm

Toying with a few ideas for 'bonus' content to give the players. One thought was inserting mini-adventures at the end of each chapter that is thematicly appropriate (urban based detective thing for the first chapter, something central to psychics for the seconed one, ect ect).

Either that or simply list a series of paragraph long snippit plothooks.

given this IS bonus content intended to reach out and grab the players and say 'hey, you could use this!' Which should I go for?

A lot of RPGs have up to half their content devoted to paragraph long plot hooks, though it is kind of a neat idea to put that sort of thing in one place. I think that might be slightly more useful than mini-adventures, but I think both ideas have merit. If it were me, I'd probably save the mini adventures for web extras or possibly small cheaply priced companion products.
