Hello Everyone! I've been a big fan of the Blue Rose game for a long time, and after playing it for a few years I've decided to give GMing a try. However, before starting my campaign, I had a question.
The plot for my campaign is pretty simple. The group will travel from town to town, with each town having something strange about them (i.e: everyone's gone mute, the ruling couple have been put into a coma, the landscape keeps changing every night) and after finding the source of the problem, must fight an inverse arcana to set everything in the town right. Most of the time they will be fighting one arcana at a time, twice they'll be fighting two at once, and the final will be three at once.
My question is this: The group will consist of somewhere between 5-8 people, each starting at Lv. 5. What do you all think the starting level of the arcana opponents should be? They'll also be fighting smaller creatures from time to time, but I'm not too worried about those, I want the arcanas to be the major threat. I'm also going to give a bonus to any player when fighting an arcana that matches their hero calling.
