Ola Chick. In the Companion, under the "Imp", i think they forgot to add the bonus of Dodge Focus. Am I right? Errata on sight?

T20 base manual.
Under True Faith in Caliphate Nights, they refer to "Protection Power". But in the book there are no Protection Powers, i think...

With the new release on the horizon, it's time to bring forward any lurking errata. So, in that spirit here's an older item that I recently encountered while proofing wasabe's character sheets.
This one has come up before, but I do not believe it has ever been officially submitted. The Shield Training feat states: You’re trained in the proper use of shields in combat. You can use a shield and take only the standard penalties. Characters lacking Shield Training take their shield’s armor check penalty on attack rolls and on all Strength- and Dexterity-based checks.
The problem with this is nowhere else in the rules is any reference to shields causing an armor check penalty in the first place! It seems to me that one of two things is supposed to be true: - Shields are supposed to give an armor check penalty equal to their Dodge/Parry bonus;or
- The Shield Training feat was supposed to refer to their Dodge bonus.
(And, as a side comment, the Shield table refers to "Dodge" bonus but it has since been ruled to apply to parry as well, so the column would be better labeled "Dodge/Parry".)
If that's pure logic I'll take vanilla.

I believe that is a reference to the Ward power, since it talks about repelling demons and so on.

I'll get this to Steve K. ASAP for clarification.
Thanks!

Here's a lingering errata question:
Kendermage wrote:Do Ordinaries who take a level in a Heroic Role suffer the same -2 penalty to the good save? Kendermage wrote:I am inclined to think not, since Ordinaries don't have a save progression, they never had a good save to begin with.

I think they would take the -2 penalty, since that's set down in the rules for mixed-role heroes, and Ordinary is a role. It's an optional role, granted, and one not intended for player-characters, but it's a role none the less.
I've asked Steve K. about it, so we should have an answer before long.

That's a good idea. I have a formatting one I noticed today:
True20 core rulebook, p. 120 - Carrying Capacity: This shouldn't use the larger, underlined heading style but instead use the smaller heading style like "Space" does directly above the Carrying Capacity section, since Carrying Capacity is one of the categories on the Size table just like Space is.
