Post formatting question: Tables

Hello,
I've drawn up a lovely set of rules for weaponry for Chinese-themed games (which I run a lot of), and I was hoping to share with the rest of the forum. Unfortunately, all of said rules are in the form of tables in a microsoft word document at the moment, and copying and paste leaves them illegibly formatted. Is there anyway to copy/create tables in the post editing window here?

The only way know of is to use code boxes (which use an equal-spaced font) and manually insert the correct number of spaces between columns.

ie, surround the whole table with "[ code]" and "[/ code]" tags, without the spaces.

Thanks for sharing your stuff with us!
