Can you cut and paste text from the new T20 core pdf?

Postby Ian Noble » Wed May 07, 2008 5:28 pm

I ask because even though my legally purchased copy of the original True20 Core pdf says in Adobe that I can copy text, it ends up being gibberish pasted into M-Word or wherever.

I would buy the new PDF in an instant if it allowed me to freely cut and paste the text. As a True20 GM, I use a database on my MacBook Pro to keep track of campaign info and data and would love to plug in some of the rulebook to better organize it.

Can anyone tell me if the Revised Core pdf allows text copying?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

Yes, I just tried it, and it worked fine for me.

I could copy from the core True20 pdf without a problem - ditto the adepts handbook, experts handbook, and true20 companion. The only one I couldn't copy was the conversion notes for Thieves World. Are you sure the issue is the pdf?

How odd.

I can cut text from the handbooks and the companion with no problem. I cannot from the original core book pdf.

Dahak -- thanks for the info; I'll buy the revised core book pdf.
